THE SUBJECT MATTER OF SOME DIVERSITY WITH MANY STUDIES IN WATERCOLOUR and PEN & INK OF THE BRITISH CONSULATE, KULANGSU, AMOY, CHINA showing views of the exterior and interior, also the neighbouring landscape, figure studies of family members and native people going about their work etc, SOME ALSO OF JAPAN, the majority annotated in the artist's hand, SOME OF THE DRAWINGS WERE SUBMITTED TO 'THE GRAPHIC' MAGAZINE and reproduced therein, with an accompanying letter from the above thanking the artist.
