A hunting sword c 1730, of a type favoured by naval officers, straight single edged blade 23½" stamped on both sides with crescent and three stars maker's mark, brass hilt embossed with roccoco style figures (worn) and with fluted dark wood grip. Basically GC (quillon and shell guard missing). £150-160
