1815 Waterloo Medal to Thomas Slater 2nd Batt 30th Reg Foot, replacement clip and ring, numerous contact marks to edge, good fine. With copied service paper and muster, he was born in Bedford, enlisted in Tullomore 17/12/04, discharged being worn out in the service 1/5/17. The 30th Foot were positioned to the left of the crossroads at Mont St Jean and played a part in the repulse of the Imperial Guards suffering over 200 casualties. Ex Chelsea Militaria July 2011.
