A French 19th century Japy Freres, Paris gilt metal & enamel mantle clock. The clock having a hand painted 8 day movement clock face with Roman numerals to the chapter ring. Hand painted vignette with couple on grass. The clock with a trophy shaped finial atop with cobalt & gilt detailing. Raised on elaborated plinth Neo-Classical base with palmette feet. Marked to back. Measures approx. 40cm x 22cm x 15cm.
