AN INDIA AND SECOND WORLD WAR GROUP OF SIX TO THE HUSSARS.
A group of six comprising a George V India General Service medal with North West Frontier 1930-31 clasp named to 545032 TPR J.Smith 15-19 H. 1939/45, Africa and Italy Stars, Defence and War medal unnamed as issued, mounted as worn with a Dunkirk Veterans badge pinned to a ribbon. With two letters, one dated August 1932 on headed paper from the 15/19th Hussars, Risaplu, in which he is described as a natural athlete of exceptional ability, and another date June 1977 on his retirement after 13 years service as a driver in the Transport and Stores department of the Royal Aircraft Establishment.
