A wide variety of items inc. 1867 env. to England franked 4a + 2a + 8pi tied by weak "MADRAS/AP28/1867/INDIA PAID/1" duplex; 1869 env. to London (sellotape repair on bank) franked pair 8a + pair 8pi tied "MADRAS/INDIA PAID/1" duplex and "FORWARDEDBY/BAINBRIDGE & Co/MADRAS" cachet with red "LONDON/C/PAID/A/17 MR 69" cds adjacent; Front to Yorkshire, England endorsed ms "Air Mail no stamps available, Earthquake area, Quetta" in sender's hand; regd mail; postage due; On Active Service and censored mail, airmail; etc. Ceylon - a selection of stamps on album leaves, mainly low values but inc. blocks, varieties and charity stamps. Also covers (13) 1938-1950 inc. numbered censors and airmail. Pakistan - a small group (17) mainly airmail envs. to England. Also a small group of Nepal covers (9) inc. regd. (3) and rice paper (1).
