OXFORD SEALED CYLINDER WINE BOTTLE. 10.6ins tall, dark black/ green glass, elegant long neck cylinder, pronounced shoulder, chunky square edged neck/ string rim (slight roughness no damage), c. 1760-80? Deep base kick up & pontil. Wonderful overall condition - full body sheen & ‘tilt’ to one side. Applied centre body seal ‘A.S/C.R. - really well struck. Absolutely stunning example of its type.
