A Swansea plate from the Lysaght service, early 19th century, painted by Henry Morris with a wickerwork basket of flowers upon a stone plinth hung with a garland of pink flowers, the cobalt blue border with gilt floral and foliate frieze, 24.5cm diameter (at fault)

The plate shows surface wear throughout, including scuffs and scratches to the central image, rubbing to the gilt highlights (extensive in places), and wear to the foot rim. The plate rings clear when pinged, and shows no obvious chips, cracks, crazing or restoration.
