BRAMPTON DATED TOBACCO JAR. 5.5ins tall. Square body, lion atop lid, separate base/ stand. Very varied salt glaze light cream through to strong brown. Four different sprigs to each side, one corner impressed JOSEPH & FAMELIA/ LUNN/ 1826. An exceptional Brampton made personalised jar, old hairline (stable) one side (& underneath) - best side displays well.
