UNDERPAID COVER TO GENOA WITH FIRST MONTH USAGE OF THE "T/1-70" MARK IN BLUE: 14 Dec. 1875 env. (diagonal crease at centre) from Callao to Genoa via London (17 Jan. 1876 backstamp) with rare blue "T/1-70" accountancy mark (v. fine, introduced 1 Jan. 1876) on the front along with"23" decimes m/s charge, Italy 2L Blue & 30c Orange postage dues & Peru 1866 10c Vermilion (faults) possibly cancelled by faint "C38" barred numeral (v. scarce). Rare first month usage combined with Peruvian issue with "C38" postmark would make this an exceedingly scarce item.
