A late 19th century diamond swag necklace/brooch, the central openwork detachable brooch with four old cut diamonds in cut down setting edge, all within a white metal scrolling mount highlighted with eight cut diamonds, the detachable brooch fitted onto conforming scrolling diamond set necklace, upon a trace link chain with bolt ring fastening, the diamonds set with yellow metal to the reverse, within fitted green leather and blue velvet box with compartment with brooch fitting within, brooch 3.5cm long, total diamond weight estimated 2.60 carats

There are some minor lead repairs seen to jump rings at the reverse.
Chain possibly later.
Mixed setting edges including cut down set and claw set.
The central reverse support of the brooch is in yellow metal, the reverse shows a similar patina throughout.
The reverse pendant loop to the detachable brooch has been squished so will need attention.
Detachable brooch 28mm wide and 37mm long.

Swag part of necklace is 11cm long, overall length 43cm.
The necklace would benefit from a clean.
Box exterior with signs of wear and blemishes commensurate with age and use.
Interior of box in good condition with indentations where box has pressed against brooch.
