A superb quality highly decorative Syrian or North African Moorish Mashrabiya style desk, dated 1930 to the inlay and also with the initials WRG and the Islamic text translating as "Doctors are unique", standing on shaped squared legs, profusely decorated with typical Middle Eastern geometric marquetry work featuring a variety of stained and ebonised wood, bone and mother of pearl inlaid patterns, the galleried top with 3 drawers and 3 drawers to the base, approx 107cm x 80cm x 118cm
