A South African Railways cabside numberplate, 2705, from a 3ft 6ins gauge Class 19D 4-8-2 built by Borsig, Works No 14756, in 1938. A versatile type of locomotive, the 19Ds were one of the last steam classes to see regular service in South Africa. Cast brass, 20½"x14¼", the front repainted. (Postage Band: N/A)
