A small Japanese export gilt bronze Sawasa oval tobacco box, 18th century, bas-relief decorated to the cover and bottom panel with flowers, buds, scrolling leaves and tendrils, the sides with birds amid blossoming and fruiting branches, on gilt ground, 5.4cm wide
Slight grubbiness to the gilt ground on the cover, basically in good condition with no restoration or damage detected.
