A pair of Western Union telegrams dated April 16th and 19th from Roberta's brother Louis To S.S Carpathia or Hotels New York, 'Dear Cissie, Relieved to see your name on the list of survivors did not know you were sailing by the Titanic.' The second dated 19th To Ritz Carlton reads in part, 'Have you received my reply, have you wired to mother yet if not do so at once.' A rare pair of telegrams showing the relief expressed by her brother at Roberta's survival.
