A 1958 AJS Model 31 650 twin, registration number ADM 646A, frame number A64828, engine number 31LX7297, blue. Introduced in 1958 the new AJS Model 31 was produced alongside its Matchless G12 stablemate. They were made to capitalise on the lucrative American market, which they did very successfully. In Britain they found favour with the ton-up boys and the new cafe racer culture. This example which has been restored, has been finished in CSR colours which suits the motorcycle. There, unfortunately, is not any paperwork detailing the restoration but it is obvious when viewing the AJS that a great deal of time and dedication has been lavished upon it.
