A worksplate, No 62069, 1948, from a Peppercorn K1 Class 2-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 26673, and allocated new to March in February 1950. It moved in January 1961 to its only other shed, Doncaster, from where it was withdrawn in January 1964 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6½", the front lightly polished, service marks in places. (Postage Band: C)
