Railway. Records. A box of Argo Transacord LP's and singles. The collection includes 4 x 12" long players, 7 x 7" EP's, 2 x 10" 78 rpm LP's and 10 x 10" 33 1/3 rpm LP's. The 7" EP's are quite rare as few of these were produced.
Titles include: "A3 Pacifics", "Trains in Trouble", "On The Footplate", "The Lickey Incline", "The Midland Compound", "Trains in the Hills", "Grantham 1957" and others. Also included in the lot are 3 rare Transacord catalogues, one from 1958, one from 1967 and one from 1970. Plus, a newspaper article from The Observer 1961, about Peter Handforth who set up Transacord Ltd. All illustrated.
