A Georgian walnut kneehole desk of small size, quarter veneered and feather-banded top, with drawers below and alcove cupboard, width 75cm
Oak drawer linings, some veneer lifting on the top and general water staining and fading. There is water damage and drying to the top of the desk which has caused cracks in the veneer in multiple places. Similarly to the sides of the desk, there is evidence of damp and cracks to the surface of the wood. There is also cracks in the moulding around the top, but none is missing. The top drawer has a 1 inch square section at the top right hand corner has been broken and reglued. The second drawer down has a small section of moulding missing. The middle door in the kneehole is bowed and doesn't close. There is a number of small pieces of veneer missing on the feet and a section of moulding missing on the base.
