FINE PATEK PHILIPPE 18CT DRESS WATCH CIRCA 1929 WITH ARCHIVE PAPERS, rectangular white dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, 29mm 18ct white gold 'rectangular, tortoise-shaped' case, Patek Philippe 9 Ligne manual wind movement, fitted with a black crocodile Patek Philippe strap, and 18ct buckle, with period leather box, Archive paperwork dated 1929, property of a private collector, Auctioneers Notes: A fine and rare gentleman's wristwatch from the 1920s with white original dial, white gold Breguet numerals. This watch is in fantastic condition and an example is featured on page 23 of “Collecting Patek Philippe wristwatches” by Osvaldo Patrizzi Volume II watch number 77. An example of this rare watch resides also in the Patek Philippe museum in Geneva.
