A GEORGE III SILVER TANKARD
by William & Robert Peaston, London 1761, of tapering cylindrical form, the hinged domed cover with a scroll-form thumbpiece, the body with an applied reeded girdle and engraved with a coat of arms. 17cm high, 22.1 troy ounces
The marks are clear. There is a full set of marks to the lid. There is some age-related surface wear but generally the tankard is in good condition.
