A FINE 2ND DRAGOON GUARDS 1871 PATTERN HELMET PLATE. A 2nd Dragoon Guards (Queen's Bays) 1871 Pattern enameled Officer's Helmet plate. With central VR initials against a red enameled background, within a garter 'Honi Soit Qui May Y Pense against dark blue, all mounted on a 12 pointed silvered faceted star, with four short screw fixing points to the reverse. *CR Slight cracking in red enamel. An attractive example.
