A late 19th century Japanese Kutani dish with rolled edges, Meiji period (1868-1912) iron red ground with panels of figures and flowers, the base with 'Kutani Sei' mark, 20 cm wide to/w a smaller Japanese lotus leaf shaped dish, the interior painted in polychrome enamels with four crabs and gilded rim, the veined exterior with moulded crabs and four character mark in underglaze blue, 16 cm wide (2)
