A LATE 19TH / EARLY 20TH CENTURY MUSICAL AUTOMATON IN THE FORM OF A RABBIT IN A CABBAGE OR LETTUCE, in the manner of Roullet & Decamps, in very poor condition and not in working order, with key, height 18cm (Condition report: the green fabric outer is extremely faded and dirty although original colour can be seen in some of the folds, there are around seven woodworm holes in and around the base, there is a hole roughly the same size as the key hole approximately 6cm to the left of the key hole, the rabbit is missing one eye and one ear, the movement is over wound, if the key is held with force towards the left the musical movement will sometimes play a note or two but will not continue on its own)
