Mid 19th Century Royal Artillery Militia Sergeants' Mess China A good and impressive example of a Tureen. White pottery with blue line decoration, the interior is a black transfer of a Crowned strap “Sergeants Mess”. To the centre an Artillery Field gun, with the initials “DRA”. This Device is repeated twice to the lid, again as a black and white transfer. The handle to the lid has had a clean break and now has been basically repaired. Otherwise VGC.
