A Charles II stumpwork, silkwork and tortoiseshell framed mirror, circa 1660; the plate within a tortoiseshell slip; the figures depicted in the frame probably portraying Catherine of Braganza in the upper reserve and King Charles I and Queen Henrietta Maria beneath canopies at the sides, above the royal lion and unicorn; a further figure in a lower reserve flanked by birds, flowers and foliage; probably originally a dressing table mirror, the back now velvet covered and with a hanging ring; 67cm high, 61cm wide
