NORMAN CROSS (HUNTS.) - INGOING PREPAID COVER EX FRANCE TO THIS LITTLE-KNOWN CAMP; 19 Nov. 1806 EL (part content removed - perhaps a bill of exchange?) from Bordeaux to a P.O.W. at Norman Cross Camp; "M. Pierre Capeyron, dans Le Prizon de Narmans Croce, Salle No.16, provenant de la fregate La Talate, En Angleterre, Route de Londre." with a very fine "P. 32 P./BORDEAUX" and a faint red "P.P.P.P." on the front, prepaid "11" decimes (on reverse). Very few letters to or from this Camp have been recorded.
