A FINE 4 BORE SPORTING GUN BY ISAAC ASKEY OF YORKSHIRE. With a 107cm Damascus barrel tapering from circular to octagonal, signed to the top 'Isaac Askey, Bedale, Yorkshire. With twin silver bands at the breech, muzzle loading with ramrod below the barrel. With percussion firing bar action lock. The lockplate engraved with a gun dog pursuing a duck, within scrolling foliate borders. The extended trigger guard further engraved with a gun dog, with a well-figured stock with fine cross hatching. 150cm overall *Condition: Slight rubbing to surfaces, action functions correctly.
