Two full albums containing 260 postcards, plain-backed postcard size photos and some smaller photos of Edwardian theatre actors and actresses, film stars and others of people involved in the entertainment industry, including a small number of modern cards – and another 58 ‘glamour’ postcards of women. Stars featured include Shirley Temple, Maurice Chevalier, Anna Neagle, Ray Milland and Dorothy Lamour, Alan Ladd, Tyrone Power, Doris Day, Spencer Tracey, Kenneth More and many other stars of the Big Screen, with several of Gladys Cooper, one of the few actors who successfully transitioned from silent pictures to the ‘talkies.’ There’s an autographed card to Geroge by Mike Yarwood. Most of the 300 plus cards/photos are in good or better collectable condition, but a number of faults such as corner creases, edge knocks etc. Some loose photos and related ephemera.
