A George III property indenture heard by William de Grey, 1st Baron Walsingham at Westminster Hall in his position as Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas, 1778, recorded on parchment and vellum, ornamented with an illuminated letter 'G' bearing the King's image, written in calligraphic script within an elaborate floriated scroll border decorated with caryatids, classical figures, animals and putto, 65 by 80cm, gilded frame above a hinged frame containing a 10cm diameter wax seal,
