Quantity of Biggles to include first editions, including 1948 ‘Biggles’ Second Case’, 1968 ‘The Boy Biggles’ in pictorial boards, 1968 ‘Biggles Breaks the Silence’, 1948 ‘Gimlet’s Oriental Quest’ in unclipped dust wrapper, 1948 second impression of ‘Biggles Delivers the Goods’ in unclipped dust wrapper, with a large collection of paperbacks. Illustrated by Leslie Stead with vignettes as well as colour frontispieces to countless titles. Generally rather worn, with tender bindings, bumped edges and spines, many with prior owner's inscriptions and gift inscriptions to the ffep. Original dust wrappers where present are chipped and worn, with loss to the spines, extremities are bumped. A number of volumes have later protective dust wrappers, some with facsimile covers.  (1 box)
