An early Boer War period ' Free Orange State ' flag. The flag having seven horizontal bands of white (4) and orange (3), with the Dutch flag in the canton. Marked to the seam O.V.S with the Orange Free State coat of arms and a 1899 date. Measures approx. 90x150cm.
