A good bronze example, the finely stippled obverse bearing SS runes within an oak wreath superimposed on a swastika; finely stippled reverse inscribed FUR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS superimposed on the numeral 4. Small bevelled ring to top retains teardrop ribbon loop. Ribbon absent. GC Founded 30th January 1938
