A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY PAIR TO THE WEST SURREY REGIMENT. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 21209 Pte F.W. Thompson The Queen's R. Frederick William Thompson from Skeyton in Norfolk also served as 27588 with the Middlesex Regiment, he died of wounds on the 26th October 1916 whilst serving with the 7th (Service) Battalion of the Queens (Royal Weat Surrey Regiment), he is buried at Albert Communal Cemetery Extension. *CR War medal polished. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
