A MEISSEN CHAMBERSTICK AND MEISSEN CUP AND SAUCER, 18TH/19TH CENTURY, the lobed chamberstick painted in the famille rose palette with applied rat and fruit decoration and a handle modelled as a dragon (14.5 cm diam), the cup and saucer with purple monochrome floral and foliate decoration reserved on a striking yellow ground, both pieces with underglaze blue sword marks

Cup and saucer:
Cup has a small nick to the rim. Saucer is in good condition
Chamber stick has a rim chip and a glued repair to a separate rim chip
One of the gilded tendrils has a section broken off and missing
Applied leaf broken with piece missing
Tiny rim chip to the foot
Applied gilded plant on the sconce has a broken leaf
Rubbed losses to gilding around the rim
