Heritage Railways. A large collection of good quality, 35mm colour slides, on Kodachrome 25, widely acknowledged to be the best Kodak film ever produced. Approx. 1000 taken by renowned author and photographer, R.C. (Dick) Riley. The majority were taken in the 1970's and 1980's but some 1960's were noted. Featuring many heritage and narrow gauge railways and including: North Yorkshire Moors, Carnforth, Dart Valley, York Railway Museum Opening 1975, Sittingbourne & Kemsley, Dinting, Southport, Ffestiniog, Ravenglass & Eskdale, Bressingham Gardens, Quainton Road and many others. The photographs include locomotives, rolling stock and infrastructure. Approx. 50% captioned, sold with copyright, sample illustrated.
