£780
A very early English porcelain tea bowl. Circa 1750, underglaze blue painted with a floral border, with a ground foot rim and a bubbling in the glaze, the piece could be perhaps attributed to Chelsea, but the F. Severne Mackenna collection label suggests Longton Hall, diameter 8.8cm. There is a hairline crack and a slight nibble on the rim, some discolouration and pitting.
