ATTRIBUTED TO DAVID COX (1783-1859) On a Country Track, near an Inn, inscribed 'July 18th 1856', watercolour, unframed, 11 x 18 in; together with another watercolour attributed to the same artist depicting a wooded landscape with figure on a path near Cottages, 13 1/2 x 23 1/2 in, a printed catalogue label verso suggesting that it was once in the collection of E. Milnes Gaskell, of Pond Street, London; and a watercolour by William H. Vernon depicting figures on a path by a country house, 11 x 14 in; and a watercolour by another hand depicting a river in spate, with inscription 'Flood at Bettws-y-Coed', 13 x 20 1/2 in; all unframed, four (4)
