WILLIAM LUKER (BRITISH 1828-1905) A shepherd with his flock resting in a sunken lane near Pevensey Bay, East Sussex with the Martello towers along the coast line, oil on relined canvas, signed and dated 1875 lower right, 44cm x 64cm, in a gilt frame which bears a price label for J. Collins & Son of Bideford, Devon, comes with a copy of the receipt of purchase from J. Collins & Son dated 1992 and a printed short biography of the artist (1 + envelope) (Condition Report: the painting is in good condition, a few cobwebs to the back, canvas is relined, frame is generally good with a small chip to top right corner)
