Fairbrass family mounted in glass fronted display case, possibly father and son medals with:
1. 1899 QSA 6 clasps Cape Colony, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith, Laing's Nek, Belfast, South Africa 1901 engraved to 9466 Pte F. Fairbrass Rifle Bde minor contact marks, about very fine, unofficial rivets for top clasp. With copied rolls, last clasp issued off later roll. With original Re-Transfer of Reservists to the Colours letter and 4 pension letters, first addressed to Canterbury.
2. 1914-15 Star trio to SR-232 Pte T.M. Fairbrass E. Kent R. (S-232 on Star) good very fine. With copied MIC and SWB roll, he enlisted 2/9/14 and was discharged due to wounds 8/11/17 and issued Silver War Badge No 256824. His name appears on a list of 2nd Bn wounded casualties in a Dover newspaper dated 4/6/15, with copy extract. GLASS WILL NOT BE POSTED. (R)
