Offa, 757-796, Canterbury Light Coinage silver penny, moneyer Eoba; Obv: 'OF' in square, cross and ornaments above, floral ornaments at sides, 'RM' below. / Rev: Pellet cross in centre, E O B A around on the leaves of a quatrefoil. 1.22g/3h (Chick 106 ; CEB 17; N. 271; S.907). This specimen has round O's both sides with a central pellet. Most of the coins listed by Chick have lozenge-shaped O's. Toned VF with an edge chip.
