A MID 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY 8 DAY LONGCASE CLOCK WITH MOON PHASES - RICHD BURN, MANCHESTER. A Mid 19th Century Mahogany 8 Day Longcase Clock with Moon Phases. Rich'd Burn, Manchester.
The hood with swan neck pediment over a blind frieze and fitted columns to a gothic shaped trunk door flanked by cluster columns on a plinth base with bracket feet. The 14 inch painted 3rd period dial with lunar/maritime phases to a Roman and Arabic dial with subsidiary seconds and date sector to a signed false plate and 4 pillar movement with anchor escapement, strike on a bell. Height 254cm.
