£70
A pair of Edwardian silver mounted photograph frames by Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1903, each of rectangular form with shaped borders, embossed with scrolling floral decoration, each 17.8cm x 13.2cm (at fault), together with a silver topped cut glass atomizer, 11.6cm high, three silver topped cut glass dressing table jars, and a silver handled shoe horn (7)
Aperture of both photo frames measuring 9cm x 13cm
Condition of the frames is poor, one example is missing it's easel support, and there is extremely heavy wear to the reverse. The silver is heavily dented, there is splitting on the high points and damage around the border, while is peeling slightly from the mount. Some of the beaded border is missing. Glass is in good order.
The other example is missing it's glass. Easel is present but it is loose, and as a result the frame leans quite far back. There is extremely heavy wear to the reverse and some damage to the wooden mount. The silver is heavily dented, there is splitting on the high points and damage around the border, while is peeling slightly from the mount.
