Craven Legion Georgian Officer shoulder belt plate circa 1803.
A fine and rare unmarked silver oval plate finely engraved with waves and lines, central strap inscribed GOD AND OUR COUNTRY, CL to plain centre. Single hook and two stud fixings. VGC West Riding of Yorkshire militia unit raised in September 1803 by Colonel Thomas Lister, Lord Ribblesdale.
