£170
A George IV silver vinaigrette, Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1828, of rectangular form, with floral cast rim, engraved radiating detail and central monogram, all enclosing a pierced grille and sponge, 4.1cm wide
Hallmarks are clear and legible, some tarnishing to the gilt interior and external body, pierced grill appears intact, grill hinge functioning, sponge fits well and appears to be original, hinged cover functioning, however cover does not sit closed suggesting slight warping to the body, signs of wear throughout commensurate with age and usage. Please see additional images to illustrate points.
