Army LSGC Medal QV (large letter reverse) replacement suspender. Engraved (Pte Henry Joseph Vaughan 74th Foot. August 1853) medal renamed. Pte Vaughan enlisted Limerick aged 19. Served 22 years, inc 7 years West Indies, 3 years Canada. Despite a long punishment record 1831 to 1838 his conduct was recorded at "very good". LSGC with gratuity & medal issued August 1853.
