A CHARLES II NEEDLEWORK PICTURE. partially worked in polychrome silks and unfinished, illustrating various creatures including mythical griffins and a unicorn, a lion with raised needlework mane, insects and a rabbit, surrounded an outline of a seated Lady and Cupid within a bocage of vines, in later wooden frame, height 28.5cm, width 37cm.
Discolouration to panel, mainly from panel (?) backing, fading to embroidery and hole to centre.
