A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY PAIR TO THE NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE/LINCOLNSHIRE REGIMENT. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 49342 Pte L. Collier Linc.R. Leonard Collier was the son of Tom and Maggie Collier of 'Lansdowne' Llarmerch Rd. West, Colwyn Bay. He served with the Lincolnshire Regiment as 49342 and the 4th Battalion, North Staffordshire Regiment as 42810. He died on the 29th September 1918 at the age of 20, he is buried at Peerth Cemetery (China Wall) outside the town of Ypres. Sold with copied MiC and other research. *CR Slightly polished surfaces. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
