A nameplate BRYN from Avonside Engine Co 1847 of 1920. A standard gauge 0-6-0ST new to Baldwins Ltd at Bryn Navigation Colliery near Port Talbot, Glamorgan. The company later became Richard Thomas & Baldwins Ltd. The locomotive and colliery passed to the NCB on 1st January 1947. Transferred to the NCB Maesteg Railways system around 1958 and scrapped there between 1961 and 1963. Cast brass, 24"x7½", the front repainted. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
