Early Rugby Interest - Terry Babington - a collection of x5 original c1920s Rugby Football caps awarded to Babington who played for Bristol & Leicester in his career. The earliest cap dated 1922-3-4, with subsequent caps 1924-25, 1925-26, 1926-27 and 1927-28. Each with original makers labels to the interior, and one named to 'T Babington' in ink to the label. Supplied with a series of c1930s BRFC Official Programmes for Guy's Hospital V Bristol, Gloucester V Bristol, London Scottish V Bristol, and Plymouth Albion V Bristol. Accompanying the collection are two original real photographic postcards showing the Bristol Saracens 1924-25 and another similar period photograph (Babington's position in the photographs is noted to the rear) and Rugby Football Union letters c1920s letting Babington know he is required to play certain games. A unique and important Bristol related collection.
